After 20 years of printing, we have had the honor to help so many of our customers tell their stories. Custom apparel is more than just a t-shirt, it helps people explain their causes, what they’ve been through, and so much more without using words. We at Underground Printing are so proud to be a part of our customers lives and are so happy we can share their stories with you.
Rosanne is a mother and author from New York. In January 2018 Rosanne unfortunately lost her son. She shared her story with us: “My 30 year old son, Lee, passed from an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning in his home along with his dog, Buddy. This devastating loss sent me down a spiritual path leading me to write my book, BeLEEve, which I did during covid.
I am also an affiliate leader and caring listener for an international organization called Helping Parents Heal, with a mission of helping parents to survive and thrive on this most difficult journey.” We are so honored that Rosanne chose us to help create her lovely shirts. Rosanne is truly an inspiration to us.
Tonia is a mom who doubles as her son, Adam’s, biggest supporter. Her story is about the love and support she feels for Adam. She told us “My son Adam started a business with videography. In one year he had 17k followers and filmed some of the best D1 (future NBA) athletes. I am his biggest supporter.” Tonia, like many moms, was so excited to see her son succeed that she created custom shirts to show off his brand.
Jonathan is a fighter from Ontario. In October 2017 he had one of the biggest health scares anyone could have. His story is this: “I had a huge meningioma removed from my brain. Unaware of its presence until I had a seizure and was taken to hospital for surgery, I was told that it had been growing for about 20 years. This [the image on his shirt] is a print of the actual scan that identified it. My doctor recently told me after my latest MRI and CAT scans that fortunately I'm fully recovered now, so I've been joking with friends about how a triumph of medical science allowed the only non-malignant part of my entire body to be identified and removed. I had the T-shirt printed to celebrate this.” We are so proud of Jonathan for showing his strength during one of the scariest moments of his life.
Brian was a man with a dream, to bring light to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the lockdown that went with it. He started a Facebook page called Quarantine Kitchen and this is his custom apparel story: “We sold tees as a fundraiser for my Facebook page Quarantine Kitchen. It’s a cooking page that allows people to post videos, photos and recipes. All proceeds from the fundraisers we do go to food pantries. People connecting through food and helping people out.” Custom tees are always a great way to raise funds for the causes you are passionate about. Keep up the great work Brian!
