With the uncertain times that we are currently from the outbreak of COVID-19, we thought it would be a great opportunity to take a step back and show appreciation for our customers! We’ve had a full two months of great pic of the months, and now we’d like to spotlight two that resonated heavily with us.
Our February winner is Kim N. who sent us this picture. She said, “My 24yr old daughter died from addiction. We gathered family and friends to celebrate her Angelversary by attending the Shatterproof walk/run in Chicago. Thank you so very much. We all loved our Angel and our shirts!!” We were deeply moved by Kim’s picture that she sent in and appreciate her sharing her story.
For March, we chose this picture from Kaila H. as our pic of the month.
She said, “This summer I started a business designing my own T-shirts and stickers in order to uplift people of color, women, and the LGBTQ community. I’ve been printing all my designs with Underground Printing.” In particular, this picture also has great context: “Here was me a pop-up show for young black entrepreneurs where I had my two latest T-shirts available. One design of Martin Luther King for Black history month and another of numerous women for Women’s History Month.”
We’re proud to support businesses like Kaila’s! In addition, we think it’s awesome to see representation like this and young entrepreneurs like Kaila producing shirts that look awesome as well!
Thank you again to not just Kaila and Kim, but to all our customers who sent us their pictures of their custom apparel and t-shirts as well as their stories. We love sharing them not only in our pic of the month blogs, but also on our social media -- @UGP on Twitter and @undergroundprinting on Instagram and Facebook. Keep sharing your pictures and stay healthy!
