It was another great month of entries for our picture of the month competition! Upon a review of all the submissions we got, we came to the conclusion that the May pic of the month winner would go to Princess-Rryal S.!

Princess-Rryal S. said, “We, The Black Student Union at The University of Michigan- Dearborn teamed up with the American Red Heart Association on campus for National Heart Month. We put on a bake sale named “Cookies for a Cause” and some of the proceeds went to the American Red Heart Association and the rest to BSU to further support and fund events such as this.”

The story on the shirts is, “This was the first time we had a chance to wear our shirts and it was perfect! Everyone who passed by loved them, asked where we got them and some even wanted one!”

While we love that people loved the custom shirts, we are even more pleased with the outstanding fundraising work that Princess-Rryal and the University of Michigan - Dearborn Black Student Union have done. We love seeing young people taking action and helping make their community a better place, and that’s exactly what Princess-Rryal and the Black Student Union are doing.

Congrats again to Princess-Rryal S. for earning the May picture of the month for UGP! We’re looking forward to another great round of submissions next month!
