For Women’s History Month, we want to spotlight all the great women that play a key role, not just in the communities that we serve, but also within our own Underground Printing family. There are countless incredible women that help keep Underground Printing running day-in and day-out, providing our customers with top-notch service. We wanted to take some time here on our House of Tees Blog to highlight a few. Thank you, ladies, for all that you do!
Jessie Snider
What do you do?
“I provide HR support for our production facility & 25 store locations. My duties range from benefits administration, payroll, recruiting & onboarding employees, tracking attendance & leave, etc!”
What’s your favorite custom apparel item and why?
“I love our custom zip-ups hoodies and crew necks sweatshirts. They’re great for all-day wear, or to layer up when going outside.”
What is your personal goal?
“I want to keep growing in my field and maybe one day become SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) certified!”
Sitav Elturan
What do you do?
"I am the store manager for UGP’s Bloomington, IN, location. I handle everything from answering customer questions, running quotes and helping with design ideas. I also manage our social media accounts and store marketing promotions.”
What’s something interesting about you?
“I think Gordon Ramsay can do no wrong, and I can tell you absolutely anything you may or may not want to know about Buffy The Vampire Slayer!!”
What’s your favorite custom apparel item and why?
“You can’t beat this vintage-esque crewneck sweatshirt from Comfort Colors. Extremely warm and versatile, it’s a hit with our IU students and Greek life!”
Ashley Schafer
What do you do?
“I oversee 4 departments that make up the Sales Enablement Team: licensing, custom branded web stores, products, and location operations. My responsibility is to ensure that Sales Managers and members of the Sales Enablement Team are well-resourced with the procedures and training to actively work and complete their jobs accordingly.”
What’s your favorite part about working at Underground Printing?
“My favorite part about working at UGP is the teamwork that is shown throughout the company. This company knows how to adapt to the changing climate and provide a safe and productive workspace.”
What do you take pride in?
“I am raising two strong-willed little ladies. I take pride in showing that I can achieve my dreams of working and be a present mother.”
What are some of your personal goals?
“I never want to stop learning. I think it is important to have a growth mindset. The top three things I want to continue learning about are how to be a better listener, become more compassionate, and a strong leader for my daughters.”
Jill Rood
What do you do?
“I source new apparel products and promotional items to add to our Catalog and track down answers for existing custom apparel products to ensure our customers are getting the best product for their needs.”
What do you take pride in?
“Our relationships with our vendors- they help us bring the best products and prices to our customers!”

“The laid-back community atmosphere is much more fun than a stuffy corporate office environment!”
