The first month of 2020 brought all sorts of great nominees for picture of the month! We loved seeing all the submissions come in, but once again we had to make the tough call to narrow it down to just one winner. We are excited to highlight Christyn D. and her student organization as the winners of January’s pic of the month selection!
“Aspiras is a student organization at WMU as well as a registered non-profit. As a group, we work to raise money and soccer gear to ship to the soccer clubs in the Dominican Republic that do not have access to the basic needs to run a soccer club.” First and foremost, we applaud the support of soccer clubs by Aspiras and love that they are all in on supporting a great cause. Christyn also said, “By continuing to help the soccer clubs grow, our goal is to help kids continue to aspire to fulfill their goals and dreams.” One of our favorite things about sports is the hope and inspiration it can provide. Whether it’s young children dreaming of making it big in their sport of choice, or simply rec sports players using sports as an inspiration to keep themselves active. There are so many ways to use sports as a positive. We are always excited to see the great ways customers who order custom shirts with us are making a difference in society.
