Our submissions for May’s Pic of the Month contest were once again, nothing short of amazing. We are always excited to see everyone’s new custom shirts and the smiles that they bring. As usual, we had to narrow it down to just one winner which is never an easy task. That said, we got it done, and we congratulate Katarina and her son, Wesley, for winning our May Pic of the Month contest and a $100 UGP custom apparel gift card!!
Here at Underground Printing, we love hearing all of the inspirational stories behind the shirts we print! This month's story was a very inspirational one from Katarina Nelson: “Wesley, my son has a terminal disease called Hunter Syndrome. We designed these shirts and sold them, donating 100% to organizations that look for a cure for him. We made them with the silhouette of his hair so it would draw attention to others on the street and we could more easily spread awareness about his disease. We absolutely love how they turned out and couldn’t be happier that we chose Underground Printing to help make it possible.” Hearing stories like these, about raising awareness are so inspiring and really highlights how strong families are. Creating shirts for any kind of fundraising is a great way to raise funds and awareness for any cause, and we’re so glad Katarina and Wesley chose us to help them make this happen.
A huge bonus is when our sales staff receive positive feedback from customers, especially when they’re from great people like Katarina. In regards to her experience with UGP, Katarina said “Incredible. Wouldn’t change a thing, we were very pleased with the whole process!” Thank you, Katarina, we’re so happy you chose us to help you out this time, and we can’t see what you create in the near future!
